Job Title:

Business Development Manager

Reporting to:

Head of Commercial

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role combines account ownership with hands-on new business development, with an initial focus on the West Coast US biotechnology territory, and scope to grow as experience develops.

Success in this role depends on the ability to proactively source, qualify and progress new opportunities in a low-inbound environment. Alongside this, you will take ownership of developing and expanding relationships with accounts. You will own end-to-end customer engagements, from building relationships, understanding scientific workflows, and guiding opportunities from first conversation through to long-term partnership.

In your first few months, the priority will be to develop a strong understanding of the iTraX product suite, expand your network within target accounts, and build a qualified pipeline of opportunities.

As the first dedicated commercial hire in the US, this role offers the opportunity to establish Elixir’s on-the-ground presence, deepen engagement with existing customers, play a key role in driving further growth, and provides opportunities for career development.
